Winners of the 2023 Michigan Healthy Worksite Award!

We have some exciting news: RJG won the bronze 2023 Michigan Healthy Worksite Award!!

This is the third time our commitment to employee wellness has been recognized by the Michigan Department of Human & Health Services due to our incredible healthy workplace initiatives. Our journey toward creating a healthy workplace has been a collaborative effort, including an in-depth wellness program, employee assistance program, onsite sporting equipment, flexible schedules, and much more!

Benefits of having a healthy workplace:
  • Mental health and well-being:
Mental health is a cornerstone of overall well-being, and a positive work environment can significantly impact employees’ mental health. Encouraging open communication, providing resources for stress management, and fostering a supportive culture can contribute to reduced stress levels and improved mental resilience among employees.
  • Enhanced Employee Morale: A positive and healthy work environment contributes to higher employee morale. When employees feel supported, valued, and part of a thriving workplace culture, they are more likely to be satisfied with their jobs. This satisfaction translates into a more positive outlook, increased job commitment, and a sense of pride in their work.
  • Employee Physical Health: A healthy workplace promotes physical well-being by providing ergonomic workspaces, encouraging regular breaks, and offering wellness programs. When employees are physically healthy, they are more likely to have higher energy levels, reduced absenteeism, and increased job satisfaction.
  • Increased Productivity: Healthy workplaces are associated with higher levels of productivity. When employees are physically and mentally well, they are more focused, engaged, and motivated to perform at their best. This, in turn, leads to increased efficiency, better decision-making, and higher overall job performance.
  • Reduced Turnover Rates: A healthy work environment can significantly impact employee retention. When employees feel their well-being is prioritized, they are more likely to stay with their current employer. This reduction in turnover rates not only saves on recruitment and training costs but also contributes to a more stable and experienced workforce.

We are proud to have a positive, healthy work environment in which our work family can thrive, so we can better serve you!
